Take a Free Course on COVID-19 From MIT



MIT is offering a course on COVID-19 that's free to the public.

The course is titled “COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 and the Pandemic” and discusses the science of the pandemic, with special guest speakers including: Anthony Fauci, David Baltimore, Britt Glaunsinger, Bruce Walker, Eric Lander, Michel Nussenzweig, Akiko Iwasaki, Arlene Sharpe, Kizzmekia Corbett, and others.

The class will be live streamed to the public and runs from September 1, 2020 through December 8, 2020 and begins each Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. ET. Only registered students will be able to ask questions during the Q&A.

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is offering a multidisciplinary course "COV-Course: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Understanding the Pandemic" with topics that range from history, biology and business to data security, racial disparities, mental health and more. The non-credit course is free of cost and open to all. Classes begin September 6, 2020 and will be held online from 8:00–9:00 p.m. CT every Sunday evening during the fall semester.
