Pros & Cons:

Cross-platform capable.
Old free versions are no longer supported by the developer.

Our Review:

Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers. It is a little more complicated to install, but it does have the advantage of being cross-platform for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X systems.

Similar to Input Director, Synergy redirects the mouse and keyboard simply when you move the mouse off the edge of your screen from one computer to another. It also merges the clipboards of all systems into one and allows cut-and-paste between the systems.

The application is open source which you can get it on GitHub here but the latest compiled versions are no longer free. There're still old free versions available on third party websites but they're no longer supported by the developer.
