Google's Files Go Helps Manage Storage And Share Files On Your Smartphone

Files Go

Storage space is often very limited on a smartphone and it will be insufficient for use when you keep adding or receiving more files like pictures and videos, or installing and running more apps that are taking up space on your device.

To manage mobile storage more effectively, Google has created a file manager called Files Go. It is a no-brainer and easier to use than any other file managers to give suggestions on unwanted files and unused apps to remove, and offload files to the cloud to save storage. It also makes transferring files to nearby friends fast, secure and user friendly without consuming mobile data.

Files Go is a pre-installed app in Android Go, also known as Android Oreo (Go Edition), a stripped-down version of Android developed by Google to run on low-end devices with a small amount of memory and storage.

This app is compatible and runs equally well on any Android system of version 5.0 and up.
